Sahara Quad Adventure Trip

Destination:   Merzouga desert
05 Days


Day 01: Marrakech – Dades Valley

After the breakfast, our expert driver/guide will pick you up at your Hotel/Riad or airport and start your Sahara quad adventure trip to the Dades Valley via Tizin’tichka pass crossing dramatics landscapes of high Atlas Mountains, which peaks at 2260m then Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; considered as a world heritage , the movie film center, At this point we will stop for lunch after the visit. From there we will drive to Ouarzazate then Kella Mgauna, the city of roses, to rearch Boumalen Dades through the road of Kasbahs.


Day 02:  Dades Valley-Merzouga Sand Dunes – Sahara Camel riding

Departure from Dades Valley 8:00 a.m to Merzouga via Tinerhir, then we will have the opportunity to visit and  enjoy Todgha gorges, from there to the palm trees and Oasis of Tinejdad and Touroug; he old canal of irrigation used in the desert area, Erfoud with the naturel fossils places (amonits and trilobits…etc), and night at the Merzouga Sand Dunes where we will ride the camels to spend the night in Berber desert camp ( Berber tents in the middle of the sand dunes) after crossing the amazing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi,  and during this aventure you will assist the sunset and welcoming by a local Berber man in the camp with a mint tea(Berber wisky) After dinner,  you will enoy the local tranditional music and try drum party, after that, you will have free time to enjoy stars. In the morning you will get up early as to see the sunrise witch give a golden color to the sand dunes, and possible to try sand boarding, then ride your camel back to the hotel where you will have a shower and breaksaft then get really to start your Sahara Quad Adventure trip for the next two days.


Day 03: Merzouga desert – Ouzina Sand dunes

After the shower and breakfast in your Merzouga guesthouse, our guide will provide all safety information about how to ride the quad biking, and to controm the quad in sand dunes and off roading then start our Sahara Desert Quad Biking Adventure to explore the remote and beautiful landscapes of the great south with the support of an experienced and expert local quad biking team. The tour will start in driving through small sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, one of the highest sand dunes in the north Africa, from there we will follow drive rivers in dirrection south in one of the famous trail for The Paris-Dakar Rallye. In our way, we will stop in the prehistoric site Taouz engraving stone, then drive in amazing landscapes offered by the desert mountains merged with sand dunes till we reach Jdaid Village where we will stop for lunch, from there, we will drive along Jdaid river with acacia trees in object to enjoy the sunset in increible orange Ouzina sand dunes in which we will spend our night either in desert Wild camp or in a small guesthouse in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy the quietness offered by a less travelled desert known as the Wild Desert.


Day 04: Ouzina Sand dunes – Erg Chebbi Sand dunes

After the breakfast, we will drive in sand dunes localed between Hamada Kem Kem and Tazounte Mountains, then visit a nomadic family in their tent to share a tea with and learn about their lifestyle. After that, we will drive along the Ouzina sand dunes and Ziz river discovering the dramatic and isolated Mountains in the south. After the desert off roading we will reach theTaous village and Khamlia where we will have Berber Pizza for lunch. Then visit a family originaly came from enjoy the Gnawa music before we start driving in the highest sand dunes of Merzouga, visit a small Oasis then climb one of the highest sand dunes for the sunset with great views offered by waves and waves of sand dunes that reach till 150m. Overnight in a hotel in Merzouga Village.


Day 05: Merzouga desert – drive back to Marrakech

After the breakfast, we will have a long drive back to Marrakech after this amazing desert adventure. In our way back, we will drive through Anti Atlas Mountains with Valleys of Accacia trees till we reach Draa Valley which is the longgest Valley with date palm trees and old Berber Kasbah, it’s a very known traiding trail from Marrakech to Zagora then to Timbuctou. In Ouarzazate we will stop for lunch then drive through the High Atlas Mountains in which the Berber people have traditionally eked out a living from agricultural terraces which still cover the hillsides in rows knitted between dry stone walls. By the evening we arriving Marrakech and drop you off in your riad/hotel
